Fix Boot Windows 10
So the steps I took to fix it was: 1: Boot into gparted 2: Right click on partition with windows 3: Flag as boot 4: Run windows recovery to fix any How Does a computer get Infected? The physical drive is a 500Gb Hdd that I have partitioned with 50 Gb going to the C dr. I then tried the cmd "bootrec.exe /FixMbr" but got the message "The drive cannot find the sector requested." I'm assuming that that's because my hdd isn't being recognised. I am 80% sure that the data and windows old junk and annoying files are still present on hdd which I have Wiped,Overwrite through Eraser and CCleaner 7-8 times!!! So, what should I do? If I leave the usb disc in with the Ubuntu it boots straight to Ubuntu. BOOTREC /FIXBOOT give me error because I have to BCD files at that time but when I run BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD it comes. I ve trying 100 times but i cant "run" the solution 4.
