Does spyware drive you mad or have you got another solution? These are not anti-virus definition updates, these are patches to correct bugs, gaping security holes!!! Was it Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials? why?
The folks over in the MS forums (answers.microsoft.com) seem to think it is. This is a really excellent response.
